There are the sides of Vegas which are less known because of lights are too bright on the Strip. This is a sub-project with in the Only Vegas project. It is a " Night life " off the Strip.

An introducing of an ongoing new photographic work project " Road Trip ". This is a photographic work which has been done, and it is a parallel idea to my typical landscape works. Years before, I passed by these opportunities because my mind was not mature enough to defind clearly about what it is. Nowadays, this is considering from myself that it is now a main body of work that my mind is always looking for.
As mentioning here time to time that we all have to follow how we feel in oder to find ourselves. So here I am. Camera: KBCanham DLC4x5 120mm lens Fuji Astia 100F slide film. An image was made on Dec 2009.

However, after all there is always a question to myself " where is a place to take a nap? It will always going to be this way for photographers... never end!!!
Spring 2010 after the night of snow and rain. It was hard to push myself to wake up from the weather like that. Usually, what in my thought talking myself out of bed to do thing was " I just spent 15 hours to drive up here. I am here and am I gonna let the LIGHT goes without doing a thing. " It is about 9 out of 10 times which it works. Specially, the morning on top of a mountain. Light comes too early!!! By 3:30am I had already to get up other wise I would be too late to catch the light coz I still have to drive for places.

The air was so clean, enough to hurt you nose. I was on the road passing through this amazing land. Sometime in between the pine forest. Sometime in the middle of the open field. Bison herds were laying on both side on the field. Fog and rain brought the elements together for me to expose this view. What can I ask for more? .....Maybe more sleep:)

Camera: KBCanham DLC45 120 nikkor lens Kodak T-max100.

Once again for spring. Flowers start to bloom in town now. There should be a great show in the desert this year because all the rain we have had so far in the west. The magic moment repeats itself once more for us to to pass by and catch this moment into ourlives. Someday when the new comers ask us about what was the world we are living in like... we may reply that it was just like..." Flowers In Spring " Calumat C-1 8x10 large format camera 240mm lens Fuji Astia 100F film, and a good spring day on a mountain in California.
